The Finnish Hanoverian Society

The Society was founded on January 31st, 2009 in Ypäjä.

The focus of the society is:

- to organize annually in Finland happenings for studbook inspections, registrations and foal shows for Hanoverians. If there are enough participants it will be possible to organize mare performance tests at the same happening. Evaluations of young horses and information about stallion choices and auction possibilities will also be available at these happenings.

- to work for the breeding of the Finnish riding horses in cooperation with the Hanoverian Society and all other breeders in Finland.

- to give the breeders a wider knowledge through seminars concerning breeding, and thereby increase the cooperation between Finnish breeders.

- to organize an annual trip to Germany to see the foal and mare shows, auctions or for example to German breeders and stallion stations.

- to create and maintain The Finnish Hanoverian Society’s web pages that include sales pages and information for the breeders.

- to improve the Finnish breeding through good cooperation between the society and all other studbooks.
